VIVE LA VOID Vive la Void (LTD ‘Death Money’ vinyl)

Vive la Void is the solo project of Sanae Yamada, co-founder and keyboard of Moon Duo. Yamada wrote and recorded his first self-titled album over a period of about two years, during off-peak periods, between Moon Duo’s tours or recording sessions.
The dense and changing atmospheres of the seven pieces result from in-depth experiments in the superposition of synthesizer tracks, a process that has also led to meditations on the changing nature of memory and perception. The result is a mix of ethereal swirls, deep crackling and electric crackling, supported by Yamada’s discreet but captivating vocal melodies and his punchy lyrics.
