LAY LLAMAS Thuban (LTD ‘Incandescent’ Orange Swirl vinyl)

Four years after the release of their fabulous first album Østro, Lay Llamas, sonic manipulator based in Italy, gives us his sublime Thuban, a real ‘Rollercoaster’ of eight tracks which presents an unprecedented psyche abundance, with great contributions like those of members of “Clinic” and “Goat”, as well as contributions from Mark Stewart of “The Pop Group” (pioneer of Post Punk and Indus Hip Hop), released on Rocket Recordings in June 2018.
With this latest opus, their sonic manifestations intensified despite the departure of Gioele Valenti (now with his own formation – JUJU), Lay Llamas composed only of Nicola Giunta, has reinvented their collective in a supernatural universe, merging the rhythmic side of krautrock with afrobeat, neo-psyche, atmospheric and experimental.
