Dead Oceans is an independent American label based in Bloomington, Indiana, founded in 2007 by Ben Swanson, Chris Swanson, Darius Van Arman, Jonathan Cargill and Phil Waldorf. Sharing their spaces and their 26 employees with Secretly Canadian and Jagjaguwar, the label has released works by artists such as Dirty Projectors, A Place to Bury Strangers, Destroyer, Mitski, and These Are Powers (…)
And since 2013, Dead Oceans is part of the Secretly Label Group, including Secretly Canadian, Jagjaguwar and The Numero Group labels.
