MIEN Mien (LTD ‘Deep MIEN’ / ‘Lucid MIEN’ coloured vinyl)

It was at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in 2004 that the first meetings between Alex Mass (Black Angels), Tom Furse (The Horrors), Rishi Dhir (Elephant Stone) and John Mark Lapham (The Earlies) took place. But it was only 14 years later, during which writing sessions and recording between global tours for all their respective projects, sometimes in studio, sometimes by exchanging contributions online, that the quartet released a first album over which they indulge their musical explorations where they transcend their origins while maintaining a certain cohesion.
